The Ashburn Farm Barracudas won their June 29 away meet against the Armfield Farm Stingrays 255 points to 182. At the end of the backstroke event the teams were in a dead heat at 90 to 90 points. But the Barracudas picked up momentum during the back half and never let up the pressure. This is the biggest point spread the Barracudas have enjoyed in any competition since July 22, 2006 – before some of our youngest swimmers were even born.
The strongest age bracket for the Barracudas this week was the 13-14 Girls who scored a perfect 36 out of a possible 36 points by sweeping the top three spots in every event. Unsurprisingly, they also won their medley relay. The 9-10 Boys followed with 26 out of 36 points, and they also won their relay.

This is shaping up to be a great season for the Barracudas and we are looking forward to our next meet against Manor Gate in our home pool at Summerwood.
The Barracudas would like to thank the Armfield Farm Stingrays swim team for hosting the meet and for extending their hospitality to us.
