Stolen Firearm Found On Ashburn Walking Trail

ASHBURN, VA — Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to Ashburn Saturday morning after a firearm was found on a walking trail in the area of Michener Drive and Ashburn Village Boulevard.

In their investigation, Loudoun deputies determined the firearm was stolen from an unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours. The deputies were able to find the owner of the firearm.

The sheriff's office said Monday in its daily crime report that the stolen firearm remains under investigation.
