Stone Bridge High Evacuated for Bomb Threat
Deputies sweeping the building Friday afternoon. Students are safe, according to Loudoun County Public Schools.

ASHBURN, VA — Stone Bridge High School has been evacuated due to a bomb threat, according to Loudoun County Public Schools.
Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies are sweeping the building.
There is no estimate on when students will be allowed to return to the building.

All students are safe. A notice to parents went out at about noon, according to LCPS spokesperson Stephanie P. Knott.
Students have been placed in school busses to keep warm.

This is the only threat currently being investigated in Loudoun County.
The City of Falls Church reported a bomb threat at 11:30 p.m. Friday at George Mason High School. Two other threats were made at Arlington schools and as many as five have been reported at Fairfax schools.
A bomb threat earlier this week at McLean High School in Fairfax County led administrators to close school for the day to give authorities time to search the building. Nothing suspicious was found.
