Suspicious Strangers Approaching Children On Uptick In Loudoun

Two more incidents of suspicious strangers approaching children were reported Monday and Tuesday: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Two more incidents of suspicious strangers approaching children were reported Monday and Tuesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The Monday incident occurred in the 15000 block of Bankfield Drive in Waterford, and the Tuesday incident happened in the area of Great Berkamstead Drive and Overmyer Terrace in Aldie.

In the Waterford incident, a girl said a grey car began following her after she got off the school bus. It was being driven by an Asian man and had a Hispanic female passenger. Police are investigating.

In the Aldie incident, a girl said that while she walking to her school bus stop, a white Toyota SUV or van with black tinted windows approached her. She said the driver rolled down the window and asked her if she wanted a ride to school, after which she declined and the vehicle drove away. The suspects are described as black, 30-40, with multiple tattoos.
