Suspicious Woman Beckons Young Girl In Ashburn: LCSO

A suspicious woman beckoned a young girl to come toward a blue van Saturday morning in Ashburn, according to the LouCou Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA — A suspicious woman beckoned a young girl to come toward a blue van Saturday morning in the 21000 block of Monmouth Terrace, according to Loudoun County Police. The girl instead ran from the area.

Around 10 a.m., police said the girl was playing with her dog in a common area near the aforementioned address when a blue van with tinted windows drove near her. The woman, a passenger, them motioned for the girl to come closer. Inside the van were the woman, a male driver and two children in the back seat. They were described as being of Middle Eastern or Indian descent.

Several incidents involving suspicious strangers and children have been reported to Loudoun County police this month.
