Teen Dies in Fatal Motorcycle Wreck Sunday
Victim ran off the side of the road at a curve in Loudoun County, according to Virginia State Police.

A motorcycle rider died in a crash Sunday in Loudoun County, according to Virginia State Police.
The victim was identified as Muhammad Riaz, 19, of Round Hill. He was transported to Inova Loudoun Cornwall Hospital where he died. He was wearing a helmet, according to VSP.
The crash occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 9, approximately one mile west of Route 611.

Riaz was traveling west on a 1999 Yamaha R6 when it ran off the right side of the road as it came through a curve. The motorcycle struck an embankment and then struck a utility pole and caught fire.
Speed was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation, according to a state police statement.
