Free COVID-19 Testing Event Cancelled In Loudoun County on Friday, Jan. 21
A cold front is expected to bring dangerously low wind chill levels on Friday, and Loudoun has cancelled their COVID-19 testing event.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The free COVID-19 testing event scheduled for Loudoun County on Friday has been cancelled. Officials cited expected inclement weather due to an arctic cold front entering the region.
The testing events, which have constantly reached capacity, have been held at the Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park in Leesburg. The next testing event is scheduled to be held on Tuesday at a site that has yet to be determined.
The National Weather warned about Friday's weather, citing "dangerously low wind chills that may lead to frostbite or hypothermia when outside for extended periods of time."
