Traffic Alert: These Events May Cause Delays This Weekend

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office asks motorists to be patient, drive safely.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county:

An event in South Riding between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday may cause delays in the area of Riding Center Drive and Unicorn Drive.
An event in Brambleton on saturday may cause delays in the area of Northstar Drive and Soave Drive between 7:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
A 5K race in Ashburn on Saturday may cause delays between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Waxpool Road and Claiborne Parkway.
A race in Ashburn Village on Sunday may cause delays on Fincastle Drive, Ashburn Village Boulevard, Tavern Drive, Gloucester Parkway and Ringold Drive between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
An event in Broadlands may cause delays on Broadlands Boulevard near the Loudoun County Public Schools administration building. The event will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
An event at Glenwood Park may cause delays on Foxcroft Road between noon and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe weekend.
