Traffic Alert for Weekend Events in Loudoun County

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Traffic delays are likely this weekend at several areas in the county because of special events. Police will have traffic control officers on hand for the following three events:

• A 5K event is Saturday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Round Hill area. Roads impacted include Eveningstar Drive, St. James Drive, Buckington Court, Collington Drive, Greenwood Drive and Park Heights Circle.
• A 5K event is Sunday from 8-11 a.m. in the Ashburn area. Roads impacted include Broadlands Boulevard, Claiborne Parkway, Waxpool Road, Truro Parrish Road and Glebe View Road.
• An event will be held Sunday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the South Riding area. Road impacted: Poland Road.

Motorists are asked to please be patient and follow all law-enforcement direction.
