The accident occurred on the morning of July 8 at the intersection of Braddock Road and Riding Center Drive. A 2001 Chevrolet Express van was traveling west on Braddock Road approaching Riding Center Drive when Nguyen, driving a 2013 Toyota Camry, tried to make a left turn onto eastbound Braddock Road from Riding Center Drive.
The van’s driver was unable to avoid colliding with the Toyota, the sheriff’s office said. The driver and four passengers in the van were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at local hospitals.
