Vandalism Ring Busted In Ashburn: Police

A young man and three juvenile teenagers have been arrested for a string of more than 20 vandalism incidents last month in Ashburn: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A young man and three juvenile teenagers have been arrested for a string of more than 20 vandalism incidents last month, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Spencer Lewis, 18, of Ashburn was charged with felony destruction of property, petit larceny and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The three juveniles, ages 15-16, have petitions pending on charges of felony destruction of property, conspiracy to commit a felony and petit larceny. The Loundoun County Fire Marshal also is investigating a possibly related incident in which a stolen item from a vehicle was set on fire and left in a parking lot near Ashburn Road.

During a seven-day period in mid November, there were 21 incidents that included vehicle windows being damaged, a business door was damaged and a home window was damaged. Items were taken from some vehicles. The damage was done by BB pellets or marbles launched by a slingshot.
