Virginia Opera Presentation Friday in Purcellville

PURCELLVILLE, VA — Some folks really dig opera. Some folks really dig Broadway Musicals. And some folks really dig the Dark Star Orchestra, but we're kind of going off-topic there.

Nevertheless, fine classical music will be had for all 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Franklin Park Arts Center, 36441 Blueridge View Lane.

It's "An Evening of Opera & Broadway."

The show will feature members of the Herndon Foundation Emerging Artists Program, as well as a "play-by-play commentary that gives audience members insight into this exciting repertoire, provided by Dr. Glenn Winters, Virginia Opera's Community Musical Outreach Director."

Tickets are $10.
