Winchester Man Identified As Homicide Victim In Sterling: LSCO

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office identified the victim in a homicide in the Sterling area as a 24-year-old Winchester man.

STERLING, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office identified the victim in a homicide on Wednesday in the Sterling area as a 24-year-old Winchester man. The victim, Jose I. Escobar Menendez, was found dead in the roadway on Emerald Point Terrace near Winding Road.

Menendez's body was found around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. The LCSO said it is continuing to investigate the case, although the office said there is no indication of a threat to the community.
