I love the Olympics! I think that it is an important part of our culture. It can inspire future athletes and generate such a feeling of patriotism. This is why we are sure to use the Olympics as an important teachable moment. Last week, we celebrated the opening ceremonies by having our students run the torch up and down the halls. Everyone participated from toddlers up to our pre-k kids.
I am excited to see what fun activities we will expose my students to. Very exciting time of year. Keep checking back for more pictures.
