Wrong Way Driver Arrested in Ashburn: Police
Wrong-way driver: A man headed north on Belmont Ridge Road was in the southbound lanes Tuesday: Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
ASHBURN, VA — Given that police are trained to notice when something's amiss, the following case reported Tuesday by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office was something of a no-brainer.
Namely, a man was driving north on Belmont Ridge Road. One problem. He was driving in the southbound lanes.
Nicholas W. Pontius, 42, of Alexandria, was charged with driving under the influence.
