Wrong Way Driver Arrested in Sterling: Police
He was headed west on Route 7, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Thing is, the North Carolina man was in the eastbound lane.

STERLING, VA — The following is not advisable. In fact, it's a recipe for disaster.
Fortunately, the good folks manning the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office prevented such an end.
To wit: an officer on routine patrol on Route 7 saw quite the astonishing thing — a vehicle was headed west on the highway. One problem. The vehicle was in the eastbound lane.

Tommy L. Locklear, 39, of North Carolina, was charged with DUI, driving with an open container, driving without an operator's license and reckless driving.
