Young Girl Assaulted, Man Arrested In Ashburn: Police
A man is being held without bond after being arrested Friday for grabbing and kissing a young girl on Halloween night in Ashburn: LCSO.
ASHBURN, VA — A man is being held without bond after being arrested Friday night for grabbing and kissing a young girl on Halloween night in the area of Tournament Parkway and Palmer Classic Parkway, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Seyed Vafaei, 68, of Ashburn was charged with assault and battery.
The victim said she was walking with a group of friends when an unknown man approached them and asked if they wanted candy. After he dropped candy in the victim's bag, he grabbed her wrist and kissed her on the cheek. Police say there may be have been similar incidents, and that Vafaei has been seen in the neighborhood riding a bicycle and wearing goggles. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-777-0475.
