Anti-Police Graffiti Found At Building, Park Near Burke

Fairfax County authorities found anti-police messages spray painted on a building and park just south of Burke.

BURKE, VA—Anti-police messages were found spray painted on a building and at a park south of Burke over the weekend.

Around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, police responded to a report of graffiti at the 9300 block of Braymore Circle in Fairfax Station. Authorities found anti-police graffiti on a building. Nearby at South Run Park, similar graffiti was found.

Police are investigating to see if the incidents are connected. The unknown suspect is described as white, between 16 and 25 years old and between 5 foot 10 and 6 foot tall and thin. He was wearing a light-colored hoodie and basketball shorts with dark shoes.
