Bench Dedication In Burke To Honor Sharon Bulova, John Cook

BURKE, VA — Two benches will be formally dedicated at 9 a.m. on Saturday outside the Braddock District office in honor of former Braddock District Supervisor and Chairman Sharon Bulova and former Braddock District Supervisor John Cook.

The ceremony will include remarks by Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-11th), Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay and other current and former Fairfax County officials.

The event is being hosted by current Braddock District Supervisor James Walkinshaw outside his office at 9022 Burke Lake Road, which connects to the Kings Park Library.

After the brief ceremony, the benches will be unveiled and a reception will be held.
