Advent Day 17

Since the first day of Advent, this blog has been linking to meditations written by members of the Washington National Cathedral congregation. 

Recently I searched the Web for other Advent meditations.  I discovered Jim Abernathy, senior pastor at Westwood Baptist Church in Springfield, Va., is writing a daily Advent blog. 

Today Pastor Jim, as he calls himself, writes about Matthew 28:8: "...afraid yet filled with joy."
