Even More Fun at the Run for the Children

The planning has begun for Fairfax CASA's Run for the Children 8K Race & 3K Run/Walk.  Scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2013, this very special event will once again bring the community together to raise funds for the advocacy work of CASA volunteers who serve abused and neglected children. 

As always, the race will be held at the Fairfax County Courthouse complex and include music, delicious food, great prizes, and giveaways. In addition, we’ve added some new features that will make the day even more fun.

• The 10K course will be replaced by a fast paced 8K, featuring fewer turns and hills. It’s an opportunity to clock your personal best! The popular 3K course remains unchanged.

• Corporations and individuals have the opportunity to build team spirit and run together in groups. Get creative with team t-shirts and posters, or set a goal to raise additional money for the children served by CASA volunteers. Teams may interact on social media to post training pictures, create excitement about the race, or post fundraising challenges.

• Registration will be easier than ever. Register online for the race without a processing fee!
