On the Way In and Out
We have apples, pears, pumpkins, winter squashes, and glorious greens. Check out the new recipes at the Smart Markets tent.
Pete Lund is bringing fantastic pumpkins for decorating the porch or folding into a cake or pie. And his prices are ridiculously low. He is also bringing more fall veggies from his Amish friends in southern Maryland. Enjoy them while you can.

Jose is still bringing tomatoes, green beans, and squashes from the summer garden as well as squashes, greens, and newly dug potatoes, turnips, and other root veggies from the fall garden. This season produces some of the most healthy foods that grow in the soil -- eat up and get those bodies ready for winter.
Now is the time to make applesauce with such a great mix of apples to choose from. And Dave Fetters is now bringing his own cider, which you can use to make homemade applesauce.
