Burke Input Sought for Virginia Outdoors Plan
Two public meetings held locally on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation will host two local public meetings to gather regional input for the 2013 Virginia Outdoors Plan, the state’s official document regarding land conservation, outdoor recreation and open space planning.
Both meetings will be held at the Northern Virginia Regional Commission office, 3060 Williams Drive, Suite 510, Fairfax, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to share their ideas for local outdoor recreation and land conservation needs.

According to its website, "The Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) is a regional council of fourteen member local governments in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C."
