CASA Info Sessions Circle the County
Attending a Fairfax CASA Information Session is the first step on the path to becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate.

Are you interested in becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate? The first step for anyone who would like to apply for CASA volunteer training is to attend a one-hour information session. At the sessions, guests have the opportunity to hear from a CASA volunteer and a CASA supervisor about the process of advocating for a child who has been abused or neglected. It’s the best way to get the full picture of what’s involved.
The monthly information sessions circulate to convenient locations throughout Fairfax County. This month's session will be held on August 17, 11 am - 1p pm, at the Sherwood Regional Library in Alexandria. Next month's session takes place in Burke, 11 am - 12 pm, at the Kings Park Library.
To reserve a spot, or for details on future info sessions, contact Elisa Kosarin, Associate Director, Recruitment and Training, at (703) 273-3526, ext.22, or ekosarin@casafairfax.org.
