Coffee With A Cop Day Planned For Burke
Officers from the West Springfield station will be at one location for National Coffee with a Cop Day on Oct. 3.

Fairfax County Police and other law enforcement agencies will participate in National Coffee With a Cop Day on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Whether you have a question about a police incident or just want to know your local officers, it's a way to meet police in good circumstances.
The West Springfield Station will be participating in National Coffee with a Cop Day at McDonald's (9528 Old Keene Mill Road, Burke) from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
National Coffee with a Cop Day is dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. It started in 2011 in Hawthorne, Calif. and expanded to all 50 states in 2016. The annual event is held the first Wednesday of October.
