The Franconia Museum will present a run-down of events that happened in Franconia and nearby during the Civil War at a two-day extravaganza at Robert E. Lee Recreation Center in Lee District Park.
Saturday's program includes a rundown on various Union forts, reenactments, free sample of Brunswick stew and corn bread a common period dish, civil war period music.
Sunday's program will focus on Black History during the war with a recitation the Emancipation Proclamation and a performance by the Carter Gospel Singers.
