Sleet and freezing rain expected to cause icy conditions on roads through Saturday morning; most activities canceled.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA ā Inasmuch that dangerous winter weather is expected Saturday morning, Fairfax County Public Schools has canceled all activities scheduled before noon.
The activities affected include:
ā¢ extracurricular activities
ā¢ interscholastic contests
ā¢ team practices
ā¢ field trips
ā¢ professional learning and training courses
ā¢ adult and community education classes
ā¢ recreation programs and community use by outside groups not affiliated with FCPS
ā¢ testing
