Fairfax Woman Charged In Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Burke: Police
Fairfax County Police charged a woman in an April 20 crash on Guinea Road that killed Lloyd Ingram, 58, of Burke who was inside a crosswalk.

BURKE, VA — Fairfax County Police charged a woman in an April 20 fatal crash on Guinea Road in Burke that killed a man who was inside a crosswalk, police said Sunday.
Rachel Isner, 40, of Fairfax was charged with careless driving and infliction of injury on a vulnerable road user. She was issued a summons and released on her own recognizance, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Detectives determined Lloyd Ingram, 58, of Burke, was crossing Guinea Road from north to south at Olley Lane. Ingram was inside a crosswalk and had the right of way, police said.

Isner was driving a 2013 Kia Forte east on Guinea Road around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 and struck Ingram in the roadway. Ingram was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries in the crash.
In their investigation, police determined Isner was not traveling at excessive speed. She remained at the scene of the fatal crash, police said.

Victim advocates from the Major Crimes Bureau’s Victim Services Division of the Fairfax County Police have been assigned to the case to ensure Ingram's family is receiving appropriate resources and assistance.
