FOUND: Missing Dog 'Sam' Reunited with Family
The 2-year old Black lab mix slipped out of his leash last weekend when the family was visiting for a wedding.
UPDATE: Saturday
Sam, the missing black lab mix, has been found! Hereās a message from his family, who were visiting Northern Virginia from KentuckyĀ for a wedding when he slipped out of his leash:
āSAM IS FOUND! He made his way back to the house he was staying at when he went missing, waiting in the carport for Drew and Allie this morning. We are grateful that all of our efforts were fruitful in bringing our family back together; but, we also learned a lot about ourselves and our community: people are good, and we must at times know to ask for help and be ready to give it.

Words donāt do our mood justice, but suffice it to say that we probably woke the neighbors with our screams of joy. Thank you immensely for everything you said, did, and felt that helped bring Sam home. Weāre driving to get him on Friday. When you need us, please call on us. We owe you
We especially want to thank Riley and Felicia from Dogs Finding Dogs, a Baltimore area nonprofit, who helped our friends track Samās hiding place yesterday and taught them how to lure him out with food and our scent. They helped our community be our eyes, ears and presence when we couldnāt be there in person and weāre so grateful.ā
