Come experience the town of Bethlehem and all the amazing events that happened that blessed Christmas 2000 years ago! Journey to Bethlehem on Sunday, December 8th from 1-3 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8304 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, VA 22152.
Just as Mary and Joseph were responding to the decree to register for the Census, so shall you and your family journey to Bethlehem to register. Once in Bethlehem you will have the opportunity to talk with all the Nativity characters. Witness the Shepherds, with live sheep, as the Angel chorus instructs them. Visit with the Magi as they make camp for the night on their journey to visit the new born King, and meet their live camel. Connect with Mary and Joseph as they make a bed for the newborn Jesus in a stable. Experience the busy Bethlehem market place with crafts for kids.
This open house is for all people - invite your neighbors and friends! Come for as long or as little as you want. A free will offering will be collected at the door.
