Lake Braddock Student National Finalist in Video Contest

He produced a short film stressing the importance of sound money management, according to Burke & Herbert Bank, based in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A Lake Braddock High School student has been named a national finalist by the America Bankers Association Foundation in a video contest where teens produce a short film pertaining to sound money management.

Dylan J. Fox, who will represent Burke & Herbert Bank, is one of five students picked in the "Lights, Camera, Save!" competition.

Fox is eligible to win a $5,000 grand prize and a scholarship for a teacher at his school to attend the 2017 Jump$tart National Educator Conference.

Winners will be announced in March.

Beside competing for cash awards, Fox’s video will be entered in the ABA Foundation’s ā€œSavers’ Choiceā€ social media contest. The contest – which runs runs Feb. 1-8 — will feature the top five Lights, Camera, Save! videos and allow viewers around the world to vote for their favorite entry.
