Lake Braddock Student National Finalist in Video Contest

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A Lake Braddock High School student has been named a national finalist by the America Bankers Association Foundation in a video contest where teens produce a short film pertaining to sound money management.

Dylan J. Fox, who will represent Burke & Herbert Bank, is one of five students picked in the "Lights, Camera, Save!" competition.

Fox is eligible to win a $5,000 grand prize and a scholarship for a teacher at his school to attend the 2017 Jump$tart National Educator Conference.

Winners will be announced in March.

Beside competing for cash awards, Fox’s video will be entered in the ABA Foundation’s “Savers’ Choice” social media contest. The contest – which runs runs Feb. 1-8 — will feature the top five Lights, Camera, Save! videos and allow viewers around the world to vote for their favorite entry.
