Maggie McFly's To Open At Springfield Town Center

This will be the first Maggie McFly's location in the DC region.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Connecticut-based restaurant chain Maggie McFly's will open the first DC area location at Springfield Town Center Wednesday, Feb. 13. A portion of sales from the first day will go to the Capital Area Food Bank.

Founded by Raymond Harper in 1993, Maggie McFly's develops recipes using local ingredients when possible. This will be the seventh Maggie McFly's location. There is also a location in Virginia Beach.

Maggie McFly's 180-item covers a wide selection of food such as entrees, burgers, pastas, pizzas, seasonal offerings and much more. The drink menu features over 100 local craft beers, wines, single malt scotches, small batch bourbons, cocktails and other spirits. Menus vary by location since each buys from local farms and companies.

On the decision to open in Springfield, Harper says, "I believe that we fit into a niche the restaurant-goers in Springfield will truly appreciate. Unlike national chains we can purchase from and cultivate relationships with smaller, local purveyors that are always striving to provide the best ingredients."

Maggie McFly's is located at 6797 Springfield Mall. For more information, visit www.maggiemcflys.com/springfield.
