Man Caught Stealing From Abandoned Building In Fairfax: Police
Police found the man trying to escape with a truck full of stolen copper.

FAIRFAX, VA—A man is facing charges after stealing from an abandoned building in Fairfax overnight Tuesday, police say.
Police say the man was acting suspicious around the building in the 9900 block of Braddock Road around 1:55 a.m. As he tried to escape with a truck full of stolen copper he removed from the building, police detained him.
Jeffrey Vaillancourt, 44, of Alexandria was arrested and charged with possession of burglary tools, petit larceny and trespassing.
