Man Impersonates A Police Officer Near GMU
A Fairfax man was charged with impersonating a police officer after taking a road rage incident into his own hands.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA ā Is helping a bicyclist impacted by road rage admirable? Probably, if you're not breaking the law while you're doing it. A man was caught impersonating a police officer in this situation near George Mason University at Braddock and Ox Roads in Fairfax Sunday.
Around 12:35 p.m., the suspect displayed a badge and asked a bicyclist if she needed help. A driver had just honked and passed her for biking in the middle of the road. The suspect sped up to the driver and forced the car to a stop.
The suspect displayed the badge and said to leave the bicyclist alone. Then he identified himself as a police officer. The other driver left, and police say the suspect followed drove into his car.
