Marine Corps Celebrates Birthday
The capstone of a week of birthday celebrations was Sunday evening's service at the Washington National Cathedral.
The Marine Corps celebrated its 236th birthday over the last week. Sunday evening Genearl James F. Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, attended the annual Marine Corps Worship Service at the Washington National Cathedral. "To all Marines -- past and present -- and especially to our families, I extend my deep gratitude for all you have done and all you continue to do," he said.
