Assistance League of Northern Virginia has another wonderful reason for gratitude this New Year: a monetary contribution from the Craft Group at Nativity Church in Burke. For the past few years, the Nativity Craft Group has donated the gorgeous crocheted and knitted items that they create. Assistance League is honored to have been chosen by the Craft Group to receive their handiwork and is privileged to able to deliver their handicrafts to appreciative recipients, including new mothers, students, and families in need. Their lovely creations include blankets, hats, booties, and sweater sets for babies; warm hats for elementary school students and adults, and scarves and headbands. These colorful, unique items prompt oohs and aahs for all who see them, and those who are fortunate to receive them appreciate having such unique items that are entirely theirs. Assistance League of Northern Virginia is deeply grateful that members of the Nativity Craft Group continue to donate their hand-made items to the charity. The organization also greatly appreciates their recent monetary contribution because it recognizes the importance of Assistance League’s work, and the donation will help the charity continue that work.
