Over 100 Camp Out For Free Chick-fil-A In Burke (Photos)
The campout has started: 100 people have pitched tents in the parking lot of the Burke Chick-fil-A, which opens Thursday.
BURKE, VA—Do you find it crazy to camp out for a day to score some free Chick-fil-A? Well, over 100 fans of the fast food chain didn't think so. Over 100 arrived at 6 a.m. Wednesday to enter for free Chick-fil-A for a year (52 meals loaded onto a card) at the Burke Chick-fil-A. The store is officially opening 6 a.m. Thursday.
The First 100 campout is a tradition of sorts for new Chick-fil-A stores. The first 100 to arrive are chosen to "camp out" to score the free meals. Because more than 100 arrived at the Burke store, a raffle drawing was held for the fans chosen to camp out. 10 alternates were chosen in addition.
