Police Investigate West Springfield Hit and Run

A white Dodge pick-up truck with a camper shell on the back failed to yield the right of way to a car going straight on Braddock Road on Friday, July 15, shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police responded to Braddock Road and Southampton Drive in West Springfield for the report of a hit and run crash.
The white Dodge pick-up truck attempted to make a left turn onto Southampton, and was hit by the car. The camper shell detached from the truck and the contents spilled onto the road. The truck left the scene of the crash. It should have damage along its right side.
The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
