Suspects At Large After Burke Robbery: Police

Police say one of the suspects fired several shots in the parking lot.

BURKE, VA—Two suspects are sought after an armed robbery at Burke Centre Shopping Center Sunday night, according to Fairfax County Police.

Around 11 p.m., police were called to the Safeway at 5757 Burke Centre Parkway. Police say two men filled a basket with merchandise and left without paying. A manager confronted them in the parking lot. One of the suspects displayed what police believe was an airsoft handgun. Multiple shots were fired into the ground before the suspects fled. The manager was not injured.

One suspect is described as a black man around 5 foot 10 with curly hair and wearing a white and gray jacket with a fur-lined hood and jeans. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man around 6 foot, heavyset and wearing a black jacket and black pants.
