Sheehy Auto Stores Receives Gold Peer Award

From Sheehy Auto Stores: Sheehy Auto Stores was recently recognized with a Gold Peer Award from the Television, Internet, Video Association (TIVA) for its employee orientation video, produced by Cocklins Digital

The eight-minute video emphasizes the Sheehy difference and was produced to welcome new employees to the company. While Sheehy Auto Stores is an automotive dealership, the company spends many resources in their employees by offering advancement in job skills, competitive salaries, training, good benefits and most importantly, a work/life balance.

“Employee morale is one of the cornerstones of our success,” said Vince Sheehy, president of Sheehy Auto Stores. “It is our hope that this video motivates our newest team members and leaves them feeling good about their professional direction with Sheehy.”

The video stresses the importance of the new employee and the contribution they can make to the company that has a 50-year history of growth and success. It cites specific examples of how employees in their current positions have moved from entry level to upper management positions by contributing to the overall well-being of the company.

The video was produced by Cocklins Digital with Steve Cocklin, photographer and editor; Anne Cocklin, producer and audio engineer and Anne Sessions, director and scriptwriter.

TIVA’s winning entries were judged on critical points including whether the objectives were met, the audience reached, the overall design and organization of the video, script writing, directing, effective editing, artistic use of the medium, and overall creativity.
