
Ye Ser Kim of Springfield, Va., won a $500 scholarship from Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute to help pay for continuing education for the University of Virginia incoming freshman.
Ye, a member of West Springfield High School’s class of 2013, was selected from more than 30 applicants, consisting of high-school seniors from all over the Washington metro area. In addition to the $500 scholarship, the future engineer receives a free student membership to CAI and the winning essay will be published in WMCCAI’s monthly magazine, Quorum™.

Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute, a 501(c)(6) organization, serves the educational, business and networking needs of the community association industry in Maryland and Virginia and the entire District of Columbia. Members include professional managers and community association volunteer leaders from condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations as well as those who provide products and services to associations.
