Teen Job Fair To Be Held At West Springfield High School

Summer is approaching, so there's no better time than now for teens to search for a job or internship. West Springfield High School will host a job fair Saturday, April 28 from noon-2 p.m. for teen job seekers.

The job fair targets student job seekers around ages 16 to 18 looking for full time employment, after-school employment, seasonal positions, internships or volunteer positions. All Fairfax County teenagers seeking jobs or looking for employment tips are welcome to attend. Volunteer opportunities and resume building workshops will be also available for younger students.

The job fair is sponsored by Supervisor Pat Herrity, the West Springfield High School Student Government Association and Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

Last year, over 2,000 teens and 120 employers attended Fairfax County's teen job fairs. The events allow students to meet potential employers and employers to fill their available positions.
