Two-Car Crash Turns Fatal In Springfield
BREAKING: Police report a fatal crash on the Fairfax County Parkway Thursday afternoon.
UPDATE: The road has reopened in both directions.
SPRINGFIELD, VAāFairfax County Police said a fatal crash occurred in Springfield Thursday afternoon.
The two-vehicle crash between a Toyota Camry and a box truck happened on the Fairfax County Parkway between Grambrill Road and Rolling Road.

The collision happened when the car driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and slid into the southbound lanes. Francis Kyung-Min Park, 19, of Fairfax, was pronounced dead on scene.
This section of the road was temporarily shut down after the crash.
