High School Theater Department Fall Performances

presents In A League of Their Own November 17 at 7:30 p.m.; November 18 at 8 p.m.; and November 19 at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10 online; $11 at the door.

presents the World Premier of Midsummer/Jersey November 17 - 19 at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $10 online; $12 at the door.

presents Too Clever By Half, or The Diary of a Scoundrel November 18 and 19 at 7 p.m.   Tickets are $10 at the door.

presents November 17 - 19, with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $7 at the door.

Burke CROP Hunger Walk 2011

  • Where: Walk begins at , 5500 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station
  • When: Sunday, November 20. Registration begins at 1:20 p.m.
  • Why Go: CROP Hunger Walks raise funds to fight hunger in the U.S. and around the world. The finish celebration includes refreshments, music, and awards. Shuttle buses will be available so that walkers may park either at the beginning or the end of the six kilometer route.
  • Price: Participation is FREE, but donations are encouraged.

Model Train Exhibit

  • Where: , 11200 Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station
  • When: Sunday, November 20, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Why Go: Bring the family for an afternoon of watching and learning about N Gauge model trains, presented by the Northern Virginia NTRAK group.
  • Price: $3 for adults; $1 for children

Benefit Concert for the Children of South Africa

  • Where: , 6304 Lee Chapel Rd, Burke
  • When: Sunday, November 20, at 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: Featuring performances by Christian recording artist Scott Zacaroli and local musicians. Proceeds benefit the local non-profit 25:40, and will be used to fund programs for children in Canizbe, South Africa.
  • Price: Admission is FREE; free-will offerings will be accepted.
