WSHS Welcomes New Career Center Specialist

Justine Scott has joined as a Career Center Specialist.

Scott and her husband moved to Northern Virginia from Boston, where she spent the last six years working for Berklee College of Music as an academic advisor. 

At Berklee College of Music, Scott initiated the first “Majors Fair”, and worked with students and their families on college planning and self-advocacy.  She also has experience facilitating workshops on a variety of topics relating to college policies and procedures, and employment.

A New York native, Scott graduated from Villanova University with a degree in communications.

"We are fortunate to have someone on staff with a broad knowledge base of college policies and procedures," said the school in an announcement to parents.  "Her understanding of the college admissions process will help our students navigate their way to achieving their post-secondary goals."

Ms. Scott is available to meet with students before or after school, during Flex, and during lunch.
