Cost of the Cameras at West Springfield

The total cost estimated for the installation at WSHS is $42,210.  "This cost includes $8,000 for camera installation in our cafeteria, which the school system plans to pay," wrote Greenfelder on the school's website.

In addition, WSHS has $15,000 in proffer funds to dedicate to this project, leaving the school's estimated portion at $19,210.  "There may be adjustments to a final estimate, which would be requested from the vendor once permission is granted to move forward," said Greenfelder.
