UPDATE: Attempted Bank Robbery at Gunpoint in Centreville
FBI releases photos. Suspect wearing mask brandished a gun outside front doors Tuesday evening; bank was closed but employees were inside.

Fairfax County Police responded to a report of a gun being brandished at the TD Bank, 6200 Multiplex Drive at around 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, according to a news release issued Wednesday by police.
The FBI said Wednesday the suspect, a man, was wearing a mask.

Bank employees saw a man dressed in dark pants and jacket attempt to enter the bank lobby, which was closed. The man yelled for employees to open the door and reportedly produced a pistol. Employees contacted police and the man fled.
The FBI noted that the suspect pointed a gun at bank employees inside the bank.
