Chesterbrook Academy in Centreville Donates to Local Food Bank

Students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Centreville held a food drive throughout the month of November and were able to donate approximately 100 items to Western Fairfax Christian Ministries through their efforts. Students delivered the donations to the organization, and during their visit were able to meet with volunteers to see how food items are sorted, shelves are stocked, and people are able to come in and “shop” for what they need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
