CHURCH IN CENTREVILLE, VA TO DROP 7,500 EGGS FROM A HELICOPTER NEAR MANASSAS BATTLEFIELDS.

Centreville, VA, March 26, 2015 – There does not seem to be any more snow in the forecast, but on Sunday, March 29th, it’s going to rain... eggs! At 10:00 a.m. on Northern Virginia Community College’s Manassas campus, Impact Church is hosting its third Annual Helicopter Egg Drop. It is not much different than what you may be imagining: 7,500 plastic, candy-filled eggs will be dropped from a massive, full-size helicopter onto a field near the Manassas Battlefields. Once the helicopter has cleared, children will be allowed to rush the field and collect the eggs. After the event, families are invited to stay for a Palm Sunday Worship Service.

Tickets sold out within two weeks of going live at http://www.impactchurchnova.com/egg-drop, but all are still welcome to come and watch the eggs fall. Due to safety purposes, only the first 750 people who registered for this event will be able to rush the field. Children three years old through 6th grade are eligible to participate, and there will be two prize eggs per age group. Immediately following the event, all are invited to stay after the Egg Drop for a community-wide Palm Sunday Worship Service. Childcare will be provided during the service. Impact Church is a new church that meets at Colin Powell Elementary School in Centreville, VA. They gather together every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. and offer kid’s ministry every week for kids ages 3-6th grade.
