Create-My-Storybook Art Class for Kids
The Writing Academy's Create-My-Storybook Art Class offers kids the opportunity to combine writing and art.
Art class at a writing school? You bet!
This innovative course gives kids the opportunity to learn both creative writing and artistic skills in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Led by a genuine artist, the course does not follow a paint-by-numbers approach. Rather, we encourage originality and invention every step of the way.
We’ll teach kids how to write short stories and create illustrations and other artwork to complement their stories. Then we’ll show them how to craft both into real books of their own that they can save as a keepsake or give away as a gift this holiday season.
This 3-session course takes place on the following Saturdays:
